For Peace And a Future For Our Children

MOTHERS

Mothers are refuge in our world
Mothers are strength when everything fails
Their voice can be gentle and lovingly guiding
They carry the secrets
book of the tides
They fight and pray for freedom and love
they endure blows for their children and never cave
The world stands and falls with the mothers of the earth
They bear the greatness and honor, and the burden first

Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers,
Mothers!

Mothers are soldiers in an army of love
In thousands of battles, we fly on white doves
A mother’s courage is the greatest source
We know no fear when danger is on the threshold
we ask for dignity, we want tolerance and respect
we want equality and rights and we want to elect
In these loud times when voices of men
fail with war and pride and costly games of shame

Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, mothers, mothers

All children are equal in our world
All children are soft, tell them nothing else
Don't seduce them with hate and pride
For they see through your eyes

Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers
Mothers! Oh, we are mothers, we are mothers, mothers, mothers

And we answer to the questions of our children, because we care
